There was this need...

The client, an international leader in the field of devices for training and sports rehabilitation, needed to offer its users a modern platform to replace the old Win32 applications and embedded systems, characterized by intrinsic limitations. The goal was to develop a new platform capable of interfacing with the hardware sensors already in use, offering coaches and physiotherapists a more portable and current system, which improved functionality and expandability for a more flexible use and in line with modern needs.

We faced it this way

We thoroughly analyzed all existing systems to understand how they worked, the user activity flows, the strengths and weaknesses, as well as how they responded to current needs and the issues that had emerged.

The numerous feedbacks received gave us a clear vision of the features, methods of use and new needs that the new platform had to respond to. The goal was to design an integrated and expandable mobile platform, with a consistent family feeling and an intuitive and easy-to-use interface.

We have taken full advantage of the potential of tablets and touch, designing intuitive interactions and ensuring a clear visualization of data, times and values, with a flexible interface to configure training and rehabilitation tests.

For this, we have created a customized Design System, designed to support the identification and understanding of the entire UI and to facilitate future updates without compromising the UX.
